This is the last straw with this boy on my street. He is in third grade with the cute little girl I watch in the afternoons. He is just a bratty kid yet his two sisters are not like him. . This past weekend he first got the little girl in trouble out front THEN after he sneaks a peek in the house where she was over her Mother lap getting a spanking with her shorts down (well off)....he teases her outside in front of other kids that she wears diapers. Maybe his sister both wear underpants like him and he finds humor in a girl wearing an actual panty. I want this to stop, what should I do?
My 11 month old daughter won't sit still!!?
My son is the same way! Changing his diaper can be a hug disaster, poop everywhere etc. Because he just won't stop wiggling and trying to get away. Just recently, though, I started changing him standing up and it has been much easier. His balance is good enough that If I kneel on the floor and let him hold onto one shoulder I can get the diaper off and get him all cleaned up while he's standing. Putting the new diaper on is still tough because he tries to escape it, but it's a huge improvement. I try to get him into it by acting excited about it and asking him to "help mommy" change his diaper or his clothes. He also loves if I give him a clean wipe to hang onto while I change him. If she's able to stand well enough I would definately suggest you try it standing up and see if you can make it more of a cooperative effort and less of a power struggle. Good luck! :)

I think that Noah is more of a boys name, especially considering history (Noah and the Ark is one of the most widely known bible stories). Blake can go either way. Brennan sounds more like a girls name to me. I have only ever known male Riley's. Lillie Brooke does not sounds like a neighborhood, but anything could really. Cassidy for a boy, Kassidy for a girl. Emmeline, I would pronounce it em-ah-leen. Molly is a cute name in itself, but the story behind it is kinda weird. When you were growing up would you have wanted to explain to your friends that you were named for your mom's childhood doll friend. And lastly, that is a good sib names set.

So I'm throwing my sister a baby shower and the theme is centered around baby feet. I want to find cupcake molds in the shape of baby feet. I have found like every cupcake mold under the sun except baby feet. Or even a baby rattle, diaper pins, baby bottles, pacifier. Something! LOL! I just want it to be baby themed and cupcake molds. (yes I know there are some cake pans in the shapes I mentioned, but I don't want to make a cake, I want cupcakes)

you have bought her things that she will go through heaps of so im sure she will appreciate it all for sure. you can never have enough nappies, wipes, bath lotions etc for babies.. they go through tonnes of it all! i suggest putting it in a nice gift basket or box and wrapping it in celophane with a ribbon so its more like a hamper... great gift :) and often far more useful and something 'big' that she may not want or need anyway.

Why is my baby not pooping?
My 5 week old son has pooped only once today. He fusses when taking a bottle and will not sleep. Mother in law and new baby is she overbearing?
I have a great husband and family. I always thought I had perfect in laws till now. They stayed out of our business and have been great with my son who isn't biologically my husband's. Me and my husband have been together for seven years and my son (who is nine now) calls him dad. This is my mil first grandbaby. It all started when I went into labor. I had said only my mom, mil and husband could be in the room. Then everyone else could come in after she was born. Well my mil brought her husband and her daughter. I was getting stressed because there were too many ppl in the room and my baby's heart rate kept dropping and when the in laws went to lunch my husband called and asked them to take their time (I wasnt even dilated to four cm) She started crying. When they got back we asked his mom to come in and she refused until I started to push. Right in front of my son after the baby was born she asked my husband how it felt to be a dad. (I haven't had "the talk" with my son all he knows is my husband is his dad) And let me also say that I know you can't help your feelings and I know she will be closer to this grandbaby than my son but all I've ever asked is dont show it. The baby was only three days old and she was asking to take her home with her for a couple of hours. We said no and I told my husband he needs to tell her that it'll be awhile before I let anyone watch her let alone take her anywhere. (she is breastfed by the way) She comes over at least three times a week since she was born, and stays two to four hours at a time. Also for the first three months my baby had colic. I was constantly having to walk around with her.Mil would come over and hold the baby when she was asleep, when my husband and I weren't looking she would change her diaper. She would say that she felt wet but I knew she was doing this to wake her up to play with her. Because she woke up my sleeping baby I would be stuck walking and bouncing her back to sleep.She always leaves as soon as she knows she cant hold the baby. Halloween I said I just wanted our little family to go out trick or treating when the baby was two weeks old. She showed up unannounced right as we started to walk out the door and then started crying because she could tell we were a little annoyed by it.(But we didnt say anything or act mean about it) She then kept asking if she could watch the baby while we took my son out. And when I said no she asked if she could come with us.(She never used to do this) Christmas before I had a chance to she went out and bought three baby's first christmas outfits. That would've been ok if she would have involved me somehow. She made a baby's 1st christmas keepsake and only put pics of her and the baby in it and only wrote about what she did with the baby and what she bought her for christmas.(It was a card she gave to the baby) Let me also say I was really young when I had my first child and didn't get to enjoy his first year because of my situation. I had to put signs up when the baby was a newborn to get her to wash her hands before she picked her up. The baby is teething now and she was letting the baby suck on her hands(my mother in laws hands) she didnt wash her hands before and she even said " Maybe I should've washed my hands first". Then on Valentine's day we told her we were gonna do our own thing and she showed up unannounced again and kissed my baby in her mouth!(GROSS)I cant let her do it and tell everyone else not to. Besides it's flu season!! She has been saying "Ive got a new picture frame that says grandma I need to find a picture of me and the baby" What about my son?? She has a Facebook page and its nothing but pictures of the baby and very few of my son. She has always called the baby "her baby" not "my grandbaby " but "my baby". She would pick up my son from school and he would ask her to come in and if the baby is asleep she wouldnt. My son said to me "nana doesnt want to visit me she just wants to see the baby and she only takes pictures of the baby" I just tell him its because the baby is new. She always brings gifts for baby and not my son. When she held her she would kiss her all over her face and talk to her loudly and (basically overwhelm the baby) she didnt like that so she would cry everytime mil would hold her. Mil would try for twenty minutes to calm her down while I go insane because the baby is screaming. I dont know if I should let her hold her while she is crying because I feel bad when I know she came to hold the baby and it was hard for me to take her from her, but its not fair to let the baby cry. My husband wont tell her not to do any of these things I've mentioned b/c he said how can I tell her not to love our baby so much. He sees her as this perfect person who does no wrong. I'm sick of arguing with my husband and dont want bad memories of my babys
Where should you change your baby's diaper if a restaurant doesn't have a changing table?
I would take my baby to the car before I would ever change it on the floor of a bathroom or even the countertop. B, C, and D are not an option due to sanitation issues the eatery would have.

I was looking for a book I lost in my mom's room and I found a bunch of sticky notes in a plastic bag. I looked closer and realized it was a song I wrote a year ago on a long car ride. I hid the song in the back of a notebook that I wrote a lot of personal stuff in and now it's in my mom's drawer. This really made me mad. She must have seen the notebook and if it just fell out why didn't she tell me? Instead she took it without a word to me. This makes me feel like I can't trust her. I don't know what to do. How come some parents are brain Dead?
Last night was the worst. We went into out local Outback Steakhouse, which was pretty busy. After a 20 minute wait we were escorted to a row of tables along a wall. The back seat was one big bench that ran the whole length of the wall and had chairs on the other side. There was this big family at the table next to us with a small infant in a carseat on the bench seat very close to our table. It was late and there was no other tables so we just kept our fingers crossed and sat down. Baby was very cute, and very quiet about 12 inches from my husband on the bench seat. Well halfway thru the salad baby messes diaper. I mean really messes diaper!! You know, that awful gag me stench. Well after about 5 minutes hubby politely comments to father that someone needs a clean diaper. Father smirks ha-ha and continues to eat. I finally had to go get the manager to ask them to change the baby. Babies father was quite peeved at having his meal interupted. Our appetites were gone and before being served main course got up to leave. Manager was quite gracious..comped the drinks and salads and gave us a discount coupon for next time. But our meal and our night out was ruined. We grabbed McDonalds on the way home.

Why are you alienating the person who is going to be taking care of your son while he is at his fathers house? She also needs to bond with the child. You say his father only feeds, rocks and changes the child...the baby is only 4 months what do you expect him to do play ball with him. You need to find a way to get along as you will be dealing with this for the next 18 years.

Stroller for a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel?
I'm looking for a stroller or rolling bag for my dog. My intent is to use it in the airport. I currently use a Sturdibag, but at 19lbs, I'd like wheels. A pull bag concerns me because I'm affraid people won't know it's a dog and be careful. Ideally, the bag (attached to a stroller or simply with wheels) actually fits under the seat on the plane so I don't have to change bags.
Fussy baby!!! Help please!!!?
My baby is two months old. She was born 6 weeks premature but she had no complications and her doctor says she's doing really well. She is not breastfed but has been doing fine with formula. She has been really fussy lately. I gave her prune juice because she hasn't pooped in days but that doesn't seem to be the problem because she finally pooped and is still fussy. I use Dr. Brown's bottles to reduce colic. I've given her gripe water, Mylicon, cut the vacuum on, changed her diaper, and fed her. I don't know what else to do! Any suggestions???

Why are we spending $56 billion a year for the Department of Education?
The Dept. of Education was created during the Eisenhower Administration., not the Carter Administration. The point is to finance even the poorest school districts so that they can have a basic infrastructure of buildings, books and facilities....something that was lacking before the federal government got involved. For the most part even today ALL school districts come under a state dept of education....an elected body as are the various district school boards. The federal government has little authority over these locally elected boards of education. Has education improved? Given that there's a lot more to learn and the complexity of science is difficult to grasp we've still managed to turn out millions of well educated people..in shear numbers more than any other country with the same or a similar population. All of this in the face of a well financed drive by 'conservatives' to deny science, promote 'religion', disrespect the teaching profession, spread outlandish lies about unions in general and teacher's unions in particular and deny the fact that there are plenty of republicans who sit on elected school boards all over the country. Given that the US military is already six times larger than all the other militaries in the world put together...including China, and also given that most of the money used to finance this bloated military Frankenstein is borrowed money I doubt if we need anymore money thrown into an organization that somehow can't 'win' wars against two third world countries. Note: 56 billion dollars comes out to a few hundred thousand per school district....hardly enough to pay the electric and water bills for the average high school.....do the math!

This is totally normal, and bananas are a binding food, which is why children with diarrhea should have them. As long as he isn't straining it's totally fine and normal. Now that you have started solids his poop should be firmer. Makes sense since everything that goes in is no longer just liquid.

What do you do when your kids only want Mommy and are actually hurtful towards Daddy?
I'm a stay-home mom and my three babies (all in diapers and under age three) are extremely attached to me. I love it but I wish they would be that way with Daddy too. When he tries to kiss them they are actually rude to him. When he tries to read them stories, they yell and they only want Mommy--for EVERYTHING. He's a very loving and gentle father, and this is really beginning to hurt his feelings. The only thing I can think of is he is hardly ever alone with them, so since I'm ALWAYS there, they go to me for everything. He spends a lot of time with them, but I'm always in the house too, so the three of them still fight for my lap and my help with everything. Is there anything I can do so that they are more loving towards him?

Why is it impossible to ever get a full bag of potato chips these days?
Why is it that,even when you buy a large size bag of potato chips, the bag is NEVER full all the way to the top? The chips are always in the lower half of the bag and the top half is just all air. Companies should stop doing this and just fill the bag to the top, and leave only enough room for the bag to be sealed shut. When you buy a car, they don't give it to you with just 3 tires and no engine, right? You get it with all tires and an engine. When you buy a bag of chips, it should be full to the top, not just mostly air.

Abusive? what should I do?
my son's father is constantly sending me text saying, "You will not be allowed to take him out of state.", "Do you not want him to have a father like you didn't have one?" "Does he have a diaper rash or something worse and that is why you don't want me to see him?" I have asked him not to call me but if i don't answer a text with in 5 minutes or less he keeps calling me. I don't answer. I placed my son in the city daycare, and his father keeps calling the director at home on Saturdays yelling at her. Today he picked him up with out my permission, and was extremely rude to the workers there. He was also yelling in front of parents. I called the daycare to double check that he was gone, and the director told me that if this continues I need to find another place to take care of my son. My son is doing SO well at daycare!! His father keeps demanding things like telling me what kind of appointments he has, and that he has an option to be there. He doesn't pay for medical (although through his work my son has medical insurance but it doesn't cost him extra. i pay the copay), he doesn't pay child support, daycare, or anything else. My son was born with Club Foot, so when we broke up I told him I was going to put him on Denali kid care, but he threw a fit saying that he had insurance and everything. He wouldn't give me his S.S. card, or birth certificate, so i couldn't do it. (we have to travel by ferry, plan, and taxi to get to his appointment) So about a week ago he texted me in all caps stating that i would have to pay for the entire trip. The police won't help me, i can't find a lawyer, and i am in fear every day of this man!!! What do I do?

8-10 diapers is pretty average but thats usually once they are at least a few months old. When they are first born you will have at least 10 a day if not more. Just remember once they grow out of a size and move up that new size of diapers will have LESS for the same price.

Potty training and public bathrooms?
My 20 month old is being potty training, she potties without an accident for weeks and she doesn't need a diaper during nap time but wears one during the night just in case.
