My 11 month old daughter won't sit still!!?

My son is the same way! Changing his diaper can be a hug disaster, poop everywhere etc. Because he just won't stop wiggling and trying to get away. Just recently, though, I started changing him standing up and it has been much easier. His balance is good enough that If I kneel on the floor and let him hold onto one shoulder I can get the diaper off and get him all cleaned up while he's standing. Putting the new diaper on is still tough because he tries to escape it, but it's a huge improvement. I try to get him into it by acting excited about it and asking him to "help mommy" change his diaper or his clothes. He also loves if I give him a clean wipe to hang onto while I change him. If she's able to stand well enough I would definately suggest you try it standing up and see if you can make it more of a cooperative effort and less of a power struggle. Good luck! :)
