Do you think I spend to much money on the baby?

my brother having his first baby and i already bought everything for the party such as dec and flavors and food I also bought the car seat and baby swing 3 things of diapers and like a box of 20 baby wipes and a bathtubs a bobby pillow and personlize baby items i blow well over 1 grand almost 2 is this too much money coming out of my pocket as his wife family don't life here and only our side of the family going to be at the shower which is only 12-20 people
