Abusive? what should I do?

my son's father is constantly sending me text saying, "You will not be allowed to take him out of state.", "Do you not want him to have a father like you didn't have one?" "Does he have a diaper rash or something worse and that is why you don't want me to see him?" I have asked him not to call me but if i don't answer a text with in 5 minutes or less he keeps calling me. I don't answer. I placed my son in the city daycare, and his father keeps calling the director at home on Saturdays yelling at her. Today he picked him up with out my permission, and was extremely rude to the workers there. He was also yelling in front of parents. I called the daycare to double check that he was gone, and the director told me that if this continues I need to find another place to take care of my son. My son is doing SO well at daycare!! His father keeps demanding things like telling me what kind of appointments he has, and that he has an option to be there. He doesn't pay for medical (although through his work my son has medical insurance but it doesn't cost him extra. i pay the copay), he doesn't pay child support, daycare, or anything else. My son was born with Club Foot, so when we broke up I told him I was going to put him on Denali kid care, but he threw a fit saying that he had insurance and everything. He wouldn't give me his S.S. card, or birth certificate, so i couldn't do it. (we have to travel by ferry, plan, and taxi to get to his appointment) So about a week ago he texted me in all caps stating that i would have to pay for the entire trip. The police won't help me, i can't find a lawyer, and i am in fear every day of this man!!! What do I do?
