Why is my baby not pooping?

My 5 week old son has pooped only once today. He fusses when taking a bottle and will not sleep. My baby is formula fed and normally has a poop every diaper change which is normally every 3 hours in a 24 hour day! I am very concerned, he is in a lot of discomfort and seriously will not sleep. Please help a new mom out thank you!
