Attn Everyone: I have a legitimate parenting question?

With my older son we started out using Huggies, but he had a very bad reaction right away to them (made his butt SUPER red all over. I used Luvs for a little while with him because they were given to us at my baby shower. I don't really have any complaints about them, but we did end up switching to Pampers because they are SO soft and I just thought he would be more comfortable in them. My 2nd son has only used Pampers. I can't imagine using cloth diapers. I know people that do but it just sounds like a big stinky, yucky mess. Especially if you didn't have the service that cleans them for you. I never really looked into it because I was just sure it wasn't for me.
