What different tax ids do I need to open a business out of my home?

I am fixing to open up a business out of my home selling items that i make like tutus, diaper cakes, hospital mums, bows, bow hangers, etc. And I may do a few if any craft shows! What if any kind of state, county, or federal tax id will I need to get. and anything else so nothing is illegal! Also do I have to tax the items? I am from the state of Texas, Brazos county, and city of bryan.
