I have went through 2 brand new Carter fuel pumps in the last month. Please help!?

I replaced my original fuel pump that went out on my truck with new Carter fuel pump. After 2 weeks, the pump was out. I got another new one and after 2 weeks that one is out. Now, I am going to buy a AC Delco because it is better brand. Can someone tell me if it is the fuel pump or is something on the truck making it go out? 98 GMC Sierra V6 4.3L
