Why is it that......?

I think ppl are to focused on the team record also with the addition of cp3 plays better defense getting two steals per game ..most ppl overlook the statistics...just think about Vince carter flashy dunks and moves bad FG percentage ( never a great shooter) and hardley played defense ...but most people would say he was better than most NBA players because of his great 360 dunks
